Smartie design was one of Mary Rose's earliest forays into the world of brightly coloured ceramics and its name comes from a well known candy coloured chocolate in the UK that is basically brightly coloured circles. This teapot has the further enhancement of having Smartie type coloured beads all around the rim and on the lid.
