This 11 inch cakestand probably isn't big enough for an actual cake, but it is an astonishing presentation piece for smaller cakes or other goodies. The colour scheme is unusually subdued for Mary Rose Young but one finds that she can do pastels just as beautifully as her brighter fare. The pink roses have a mother of pearl background and the encrusted roses are "flecked" with gold.
