Mary Rose's Pumpkin body is made in a mould and then she fashions a stem to suit and fits it on. On this piece the pumpkin's idiosyncratic shape is enhanced by vertical lustred stripes. As you can see the pumpkin body is only just over 3 inches high but the stem takes it up to over 6 inches overall
